Zooylo is built on established frameworks for inclusive learning and accessibility. We're deliberately careful about claims: we tell you the principles we design around, not outcomes we can't yet prove.

Universal Design for Learning
CAST's framework for designing learning that works for the widest range of learners from the start — multiple means of engagement, representation, and action. It's why every activity offers more than one way to take part and to succeed.
Developmentally appropriate practice
Activities are pitched to where young children actually are — short, concrete, play-based and low-pressure — and meet each child as an individual rather than a level on a ladder.
Web & app accessibility
The international standard for accessible digital experiences. We treat AA as the floor across the product and this site, aiming higher on contrast and targets where it helps real children.
Skills, not labels. Strengths, not deficits.
Children are never sorted by diagnosis. We organise around plain-language skills and meet a child where they are, with many valid ways to succeed at each one. Feedback is positive-only, progress is framed around strengths, and nothing in the experience compares one child to another.

A note on claims. Zooylo supports skill-building practice. It is not therapy, assessment or treatment, and we don't claim to improve, reduce or cure any condition. Where we cite principles like UDL or WCAG, we mean the design frameworks we follow — not a guarantee of outcomes. Any efficacy claim will appear here only when backed by a real, citable study.

Every feature is checked against WCAG 2.2 as it's built, so accessibility is part of the work rather than a final audit.
